HSE Policy

Sejin Heavy Industries puts into action the following policies in order to improve its HSE management practices throughout the entire process of its business activities, from design and manufacture of ship components to painting and shipment of the products under OHSAS18001 and KOSHA18001.

• 1. Our health, safety and environment (HSE) management system is based on OHSAS 18001 guidelines so that we are able to constantly improve our HSE practices. In order to prevent any HSE-related accidents, we put the HSE welfare of our employees and contracted workers at the top of our HSE priority list.

• 2. We comply with all HSE laws and regulations to protect and secure the legitimacy of our business activities.

• 3. All risks associated with our business planning, procurement, production and service activities shall be anticipated to take control of them to acceptable level in addition to continued HSE accident prevention activities.

• 4. We regularly set detailed goals for HSE practices and periodically review performance results to establish leading HSE management practices within the organization.

• 5. We will continue to carry out systematic education and training for employees to attain our HSE policy goals.

• 6. We will ensure transparency in our HSE management practices through interactive communication with employees, contracted workers and stakeholders using established communication channels.

Employees must be familiar with the above statements and actively participate in the company's HSE activities, including R&D on risk-reducing technologies and production techniques as they relate to the actual production process.
